How Community Catalysts collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.

Community Catalysts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Howell, Michigan. We serve as a catalyst to our partners so that seniors, veterans, neighbors who have become homeless, and other low-income households have attainable housing and services. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us through this website.
We only ask for what we need to respond to you:
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information — browser type, device, referring page, and pages visited — through standard analytics. This is used in aggregate to understand what people find useful. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
We never sell, rent, trade, or share our donor list with other organizations for their own use. If you'd prefer your gift stay anonymous in any public thank-you, just tell us and we'll honor it.
We share your information only with the service providers who help us operate — our website host, form handler, email platform, and payment processor — and only so they can perform that work for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our guests, staff, or volunteers.
Information about guests and residents of our housing programs is kept confidential and is not published on this website.
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working properly and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at any time to see what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we'll take care of it promptly.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, and we limit access to staff who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we treat your information with the same care we'd want for our own.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
